I have some really good news! The state has lifted the restrictions on dentistry, so we are back to work! We’ve been in the office for a few weeks now working through our protocols so we can be sure that we can treat you safely.
You will notice a few changes when you come back to the office. Prior to you appointment, you will receive an email with a questionnaire to assess your COVID risk. PLEASE fill that out and submit it. It is very important that we limit exposure to ourselves and our other patients.
Come early to your appointment, and call from your car when you arrive. We will come get you as soon as we are ready for you. With all the extra precautions we are taking to keep you safe (extra time to disinfect the rooms, reduced traffic in the reception area, etc.), it is critical that we are able to start your appointment on time (or early if possible). Arriving late to an appointment starts a domino effect in our schedule that will make us late for every appointment to follow. We will do our very best to stay on or ahead of schedule, but we need your help!
When we bring you into the office, we ask that you disinfect your hands before having your temperature taken with a no-touch forehead thermometer. If your temperature is higher than 100.4 degrees, we will ask that you see your physician for further evaluation.
We are really looking forward to seeing all of our friends in the office, but please don’t be offended if we don’t seem to have as much time to chat as we usually do. We need to keep the hallways and reception area clear, and do everything we can to stay on schedule.
I want to thank you all for your support and patience over the last few months. Everything we are doing is for your safety and your benefit. I ask for your continued patience as we work through the tremendous backlog of missed appointments. Our team is doing an amazing job reconfiguring our schedule, amending all of our protocols, and working extra hours to accommodate as many people as possible. It will take some time, but we will get caught up!
As always, if you are having a dental problem, please reach out to us. We will be sure to find a way to see you as soon as possible.
I am very happy to back in the office, and we are all looking forward to seeing you. Until then, be careful out there.
